This particular Treasure Festa also had a charity auction where the proceeds are to help fund Japan Mine Action Service, a group which is actively assisting in the removal of land mines in south east Asia. Seven items were available in the auction, the garage kits were supplied assembled and painted. The file names for the items are the winning bids.

One organization that had a conspicuous presence at Treasure Festa was Yoyogi Animation Gakuin (YAG) which is a school that primarily teaches how to create animations. In recent years, the school has expanded its curriculum, and samples of this could be seen at Treasure Festa. On display were garage kits, plastics models and action figures which were painted by this school’s students as well as rubber/latex masks. Also available were sample classes in sculpting and special effect make-up (not pictured) for a price.
